How We Are Keeping You Safe

A Message To Our Patients:

Our office is committed to helping people and being part of the solution for society.  We are keeping our staff, patients, and society safe while at the same time providing necessary dental care for people who need it.

Our office would like you to know we value your health above all things amidst the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. We are taking all necessary and precautionary measures recommended by the CDC and the American Dental Association to assure that our patients are treated in the most sterile, safe, and comfortable environment possible.  Your wellness is our priority!

To ensure our and your protection, we are minimizing the number of patients in the office at the same time in adherence with social distancing principles per CDC guidelines.  Because of this, appointment times are very limited and we have reserved this time especially for you.  Appointment times will be more fluid, and we may need to adjust your appointment time to ensure that you will not have to wait in our reception room.  Please know we are doing the best we can, and adjustments are likely and necessary.

Fortunately, dentistry already has an excellent infection control record.  We are also closely following the most updated emergency CDC and ADA infection control guidelines throughout this crisis.  We continue to implement our routine universal precautions and have added some additional measures to protect our patients and reduce the spread of infection.  We have increased the frequency of cleaning our office to include deep cleaning of non-clinical areas between each patient.  Also, for the safety of you and our staff, we have installed medical-grade HEPA H13 air purifying filters throughout our office.  These air purifiers remove 99.97% of unhealthy particles in the air, including virus carriers, bacteria, mold, dust, pollen, and others.  It continuously returns fresh, filtered air throughout the office.

Our updated appointment process includes a few changes.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation:

1.  We ask that you complete all registration forms online as soon as you receive the registration email from us.  This vital information helps us appropriately plan your appointment time.  Not doing so may result in cancellation/modification of your appointment.

2.  Please let us know when you have arrived for your appointment by calling our office at (404) 377-9395.  We ask that you wait in your vehicle until your appointment begins.  Once the prior patient has left and we have completed our thorough sanitization procedures, we will call you and welcome you in for your appointment.

3.  Only bring someone with you if it is absolutely necessary (guardian, driver, etc.).  No children will be allowed in the office unless they are the scheduled patient.

4.  We will take your temperature when you arrive to ensure you do not have a fever above 100.4 degrees, per CDC guidelines.  You will also be asked to wash your hands and use mouthwash when you arrive.  We will also ask that you wash your hands prior to leaving the office.

Thank you in advance for your patience, flexibility, and understanding.  Please do not hesitate to call us at (404) 377-9395 or email Dr. Pafford at if you have any questions or concerns.  Again, thank you for trusting us in your care!
